So, I've had a lot of things to do lately. Obviously, everyone does, but you know how it goes - there's always those three or four really big things you keep thinking about, that you just can't get to doing, for whatever reason. For me lately, I've been looking for a new job, since my current job is getting questionable, and also have been working myself up to completing my application to Temple. I have a few stories to finish from the writing prompt several posts back, and books to read...oh and a ton of comic books to read as well. Not a lot really, but stuff I have to remember to devote time to.

But there are these things that keep nagging me, that I need to get done before I go crazy, but just don't have the money for...

One of them is buy a new gigantic hard drive before my computer explodes. This is something I think I have to wait one or two paychecks for. Of course, I would really like to indulge and buy myself a beautiful laptop, but my wallet and bank account burst into hysterics anytime I mention this. Not to say I would spend on a laptop if I had one, but I really need a credit card, too (no credit = get nothing).

Two is buying a warddrobe from IKEA. This needs about a hundred to go towards it, since my mom gave me two hundred on a gift certificate for Christmas (yowzers! right?). It should fit just about ALL of my clothes in it, minues maybe my jackets. The very idea of all my clothes in one piece of furniture is absurdly sexy, but I fear when I eventually move out of my apartment, it will be one of the most difficult things to get out.

Three, well, three is what is nagging me the absolute most, and that is "TATTOO!" I have three specific tattoos I want. The brand is first, and I'm going to save about 250 for it, becuse even though it's small, I want it to look realistic and that is going to require a lot of shading. Then, possibly cheaper than the brand, are my input jacks, which I want on the back of my neck (I finally found reference photos a few days ago in the Ghost in the Shell community). Three will undoubtedly be the most complex and expensive - and I don't even want to get into details - but it's a sleeve (probably half, maybe 3/4) on my right arm. I have a nebulous concept and I have no good way to explain exactly how I want the art to be. I have to sketch it out, and then present it to someone who can draw to elaborate upon before I even bother going to a tattoo artist. I'm looking at my buddy at work, since he is stellar, and has a realistic yet comic style. We'll see... we'll see...

Oh yeah. My ipod is definitely broken. It was being problematic for about a month before it finally crapped out completely. I wanna say harddrive failure, the motherfucker. Of course, I want a new video one (white, 30gb), but I might have to settle for paying 50 bucks for a refurbished one, if I can even do that.
